Burak CEYHAN -THE DEPUTY MINISTER
He was graduated from the Faculty of Law at Ankara University in 2009. He completed his post-graduate studies in the Department of Public Law at the Institute of Social Sciences of Yıldırım Beyazıt University.
In 2011, he commenced his professional career as a candidate judge and prosecutor. From 2013 to 2015, he served as a Judge in Silivri. Between 2015 and 2016, he held office as a Rapporteur Judge at the Directorate General for Prisons and Detention Houses of the Ministry of Justice, and from 2016 to 2018, he worked as a Rapporteur Judge at the Private Secretariat of the Ministry of Justice.
From 2018 to 2021, he served as Head of Department at the Directorate General for Prisons and Detention Houses, and between 2021 and 2023, he worked as Deputy Director General in the same Directorate General. From 2023 to 2025, he served as a Public Prosecutor at the Ankara Regional Court of Justice.
Since 2025, he has held office as the Deputy Chief Public Prosecutor of Istanbul, responsible for cases concerning smuggling, narcotics, financial crimes, illegal betting, and zoning offenses. Wit the Presidential Decree dated 20 February 2026, he was appointed as the Deputy Minister of Justice.
