MINISTER GÜRLEK: A CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION WAS PROMPTLY INITIATED, AND THE SUSPECT WAS ARRESTED BY THE CRIMINAL JUDGESHIP OF PEACE
Minister of Justice Akın Gürlek, regarding the incident of violence in Yalova, stated as follows: "A criminal investigation was promptly initiated by Yalova Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office, and the suspect, who was considered to have injured a father and his daughter, was arrested by the Criminal Judgeship of Peace."
Minister Gürlek shared a message on his social media account concerning the incident of violence in Esenköy/Yalova, where a father and his daughter were injured. He conveyed his wishes for a speedy recovery to the injured father and daughter.
Minister Gürlek’s message reads as follows:
“I extend my best wishes for recovery to the father and his 14‑month‑old child, who were injured in the incident that occurred in Esenköy/Yalova, and I wish them speedy recovery.
With respect to the incident, a criminal investigation was promptly initiated by Yalova Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office, and the suspect, who is considered to have injured the father and his daughter, was arrested by the Criminal Judgeship of Peace.
The investigation is being conducted thoroughly and meticulously in all its aspects.”
