WE AIM TO CONTINUE OUR POSITIVE RELATIONS AT ALL TIMES

"Algeria is one of the most important trade partners of our country in Africa. The visits of our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan to Algeria in 2018 and 2020 gave a new momentum to our relations. During our President’s visit in 2020, establishment of a high-level cooperation council between our countries was decided. During the visit in 2022, 15 agreements together with a joint declaration were signed. In the aftermath of this process, following the visit of the President of Algeria in July last year, the visit of our President to his friend and brother Algeria in November also raised the relations between our countries with a shared cultural heritage to the highest level. We aim to continue these positive relations at all times. Thanks to the bond of friendship and brotherhood between us and Algeria, which we attach importance to in the North African geography, our cooperation is increasingly developing in every field from past to present."
WE WELCOME YOUR SUPPORT IN OUR FIGHT AGAINST FETÖ/PDY (Parallel State Structure) TERRORIST ORGANISATION
Mentioning the joint works of the Higher School for the Judiciary of Algeria and the Justice Academy of Türkiye, Minister Tunç emphasized judicial cooperation between the two countries and added that “As you know, mutual legal assistance requests between our respective countries are executed within the scope of the bilateral agreement.
