MINISTER TUNÇ VISITED THE EMBASSY IN THE HAGUE DURING HIS VISIT TO THE NETHERLANDS
Minister of Justice Yılmaz Tunç visited the Peace Palace and the Embassy of Türkiye in The Hague within the scope of his contacts in the Netherlands and met with representatives of Turkish organizations.
Continuing his contacts in the Netherlands upon the invitation of Minister of Justice and Security David van Weel, Minister Tunç also met with Marcin Czepelak, Secretary General of the Permanent Court of Arbitration at the Peace Palace.
Minister Yılmaz Tunç, who examined the Peace Palace, which also hosts the International Court of Justice, emphasized the strengthening of cooperation with the Permanent Court of Arbitration in order for the Istanbul Arbitration Center to operate more effectively in the international arena.

After meeting with diplomats and diplomatic corps at the Turkish Embassy in The Hague, Minister of Justice Tunç received Adil Akaltun, Director of the Yunus Emre Institute in Amsterdam, and Sabri Yıldırım, Netherlands Representative of the Turkish Maarif Foundation and Director of Maarif Europe.
Minister Tunç received information about the activities carried out in the Netherlands from Selçuk Ünal, Ambassador of Türkiye in The Hague, and made evaluations on the promotion of Türkiye, educational activities, culture and art activities.
Minister Yılmaz Tunç said, “I would like to thank our Ambassador, Turkish Maarif Foundation and Yunus Emre Institute officials and embassy staff for successfully representing our country in the Netherlands, and wish them ease in their work.”
Minister Tunç also visited the Netherlands Religious Foundation (HDV) and received information about the work of the foundation.
Thanking the employees of the Netherlands Religious Foundation, Tunç said, “As an extension of our historical foundation tradition, we received information about the work and activities of the foundation, which was established with the efforts of our citizens living in the Netherlands. I would like to thank all the managers of the foundation, which strives for human rights, peace, solidarity and coexistence, and provides services in religion, education and sociocultural fields for goodness to prevail, for their diligent work and wish them success.”
