Minister of Justice Akın Gürlek extended his congratulations on the 106th anniversary of the inauguration of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye and on the April 23 National Sovereignty and Children’s Day.
In a statement shared on his social media account, Minister of Justice Gürlek said as follows: “I extend my congratulations on the 106th anniversary of the inauguration of our Grand National Assembly of Türkiye, the embodiment of the national will, and on the April 23 National Sovereignty and Children’s Day, which symbolizes our cherished children as the guarantors of our future.”
Minister Gürlek emphasized that, under the leadership of the President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, they are working with determination to strengthen the national will, to consolidate the state governed by the rule of law, and to leave to children a more just, more peaceful, and stronger Türkiye. He stated as follows:
“Our Grand Assembly has served as the headquarters of our struggle for independence and has been one of the strongest pillars of our Republic and our conception of justice. Under the leadership of our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, we are working with determination to strengthen the national will, to consolidate the state governed by the rule of law, and to leave to our children a more just, more peaceful, and stronger Türkiye. On the occasion of this meaningful day, I commemorate with mercy, gratitude, and respect the Founder of our Republic, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, his comrades‑in‑arms, our venerable martyrs, and our veterans.”

In a video message shared regarding his participation in the performance at the Kindergarten of the Ministry of Justice, Minister Gürlek stated as follows: “Today, tomorrow, and always. I embrace with love each of our little ones, the joy of today and the guarantee of tomorrow, and I extend my heartfelt congratulations on the April 23 National Sovereignty and Children’s Day.
