IT WAS SIGNED A MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING ON COOPERATION IN LEGAL MATTERS BETWEEN THE MINISTRY OF JUSTICE OF THE REPUBLIC OF TÜRKİYE AND THE MINISTRY OF JUSTICE OF IRAQ
The agreements were signed between Türkiye and Iraq in the fields of migration, education, combating drugs, disaster and emergency management, information and communication technologies, defence industry, higher education, metrology and law.
Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shiya al-Sudani, who visited Türkiye, was welcomed with an official ceremony. After his meeting with the President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan at the Presidential Complex, a joint press conference was held.
After the meeting between the delegations of the President Erdoğan and the Prime Minister of Iraq Mohammed Shiya al-Sudani, the agreements were signed between the two countries.
The Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in Legal Matters between the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Türkiye and the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Iraq was signed by the Minister of Justice Yılmaz Tunç and the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Fuad Hüseyin.
