MINISTER TUNÇ: WE OPENED THE FIRST JUDICIAL REFORM STRATEGY DOCUMENT OF THE CENTURY OF TÜRKİYE TO THE OPINIONS AND SUGGESTIONS OF OUR CITIZENS

Minister of Justice Yılmaz Tunç stated that they have opened the first Judicial Reform Strategy Document of the Century of Türkiye to the opinions and suggestions of citizens and said, “All 85 million citizens from all over Türkiye and abroad can submit their opinions and suggestions to us at yargireformu.justice.gov.tr.”

Within the scope of the preparations for the new judicial reform, the Ministry of Justice continues to work uninterruptedly to establish a reliable and accessible justice system that can respond to needs and demands.

The opinions and suggestions that citizens will submit to the strategy document, which is also linked on the Ministry of Justice website, will be examined, classified, and evaluated within the scope of the work.

ALL OUR CITIZENS CAN REACH US

“There will be important targets in our new Judicial Reform Strategy Document,” said Minister of Justice Yılmaz Tunç and added, “After our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan shares it with the public at the end of September, hopefully, we will fulfill those targets by doing our part with the legislature, the executive and the judiciary.”

Emphasizing that a new website was opened on the internet version of the Ministry of Justice regarding the Strategy Document, Minister Tunç stated:

“The opinions of all our citizens are important to us. They can send us their problems, opinions, and suggestions about the judiciary. In this sense, we have opened a web page about judicial reform on the Ministry of Justice’s page. They can express their opinions there. “At https://yargireformu.adalet.gov.tr/ address, all 85 million citizens from all over Türkiye and abroad can send their opinions about the judiciary to this page. With the Judicial Reform Strategy Document, we will commit to our nation our goals and activities aimed at further strengthening democracy, further developing and expanding rights and freedoms.”

PLATFORM INTEGRATED INTO UYAP SYSTEM

The preparations for the New Judicial Reform Strategy Document, which will cover the years 2024-2028 with the vision of ‘A Justice System Based on the Rule of Law, Immediate and Predictable,’ continue unabated.

In this context, all our citizens can submit their opinions on judicial reform through the website https://yargireformu.adalet.gov.tr/. The opinions and suggestions submitted by our citizens will be examined, classified, and evaluated within the scope of the studies, and the strategy document will be guided.

In addition, this platform was integrated into the UYAP system, which is accessible to 24,805 judges and public prosecutors as well as 184,223 justice personnel in Türkiye. Thus, a platform, open to the opinions and suggestions of judges, prosecutors, and justice personnel was created.

In line with the targets set within the framework of the Judicial Reform Strategy Documents announced in 2009 and updated twice in 2015 and 2019, and the Human Rights Action Plans announced in 2014 and updated in 2021, many judicial packages were enacted in the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye and administrative regulations were put into practice.
